This was an installation of large-scale shopping bags based on paintings in the Gallery's collection that were made in the late 1950's (around the time that artist was born) and on a set of decorative arts objects from the nineteenth century. Viewers were invited to claim a small shopping bag (with an image of a woodcut from the exhibition) in the Gallery Gift shop.
